The Washington State BMW Riders

The 38th Annual Cascade Country Rendezvous is now one for the books. Low on attendance (251) but high on enjoyment. Earlier in the year, we had thought that there would be throngs coming over from the National in Redmond, but in the last few weeks, I was hearing the opposite. Many people could only take time off for one rally and, of course, Redmond won. Those that did make the sojourn to Menlo were certainly glad they did.

The food was awesome, the weather was just as I had ordered (except for Thursday, a bit nippy), the campfire burned brightly every night, the rides were very enjoyable, the seminars and presentations were informative and fun, and the band was very entertaining. We were honored to have several BMW MOA Ambassadors in attendance and even Mark Austin, who is the Co-Chair for the 2011 National Rally.
